MY STORY

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and sustainable development are at the heart of my work, driven by the conviction that achieving health equity requires sustainable financing, strong institutions, and resilient systems. As a resource mobilization and NGO sustainability specialist, I have helped secure more than $300,000 for high-impact health and development initiatives. Throughout my career, I have supported organizations in securing competitive grants and served on international grant review committees, contributing to funding decisions that shape investments in global health and development.

 My commitment to reproductive justice is deeply personal. It is rooted in losing my mother to severe fibroid complications and witnessing the devastating impact of the Ebola epidemic in Liberia. These experiences revealed how health emergencies, climate change, and humanitarian crises disproportionately affect women and girls, increasing their risk of gender-based violence, unintended pregnancies, stillbirths, and other adverse health outcomes. They continue to inspire my commitment to advancing SRHR, particularly in humanitarian and emergency settings. Through my work, I bridge the gap between research, policy, programme design, and implementation to develop practical, evidence-based solutions that improve lives and strengthen communities. I also coach change-makers and young professionals using the blueprint that guided my own journey from grassroots activism in Liberia to global platforms. Through mentorship, I support emerging leaders, particularly women, to strengthen their leadership skills, build authentic personal brands, identify meaningful opportunities, and build impactful careers in public health and global development.
